"Why did the chicken cross the road?"

A silly joke that has been known since childhood. Inspired by Crossy Road, this game is made using GDevelop... well by made, I mean I just straight up used a template in the engine and created this game. I did changed things here and there though to learn how the engine works and what it is capable of. 

I decided to label this game as a prototype for now because the purpose of this game's existance is for an assignment of mine. Who knows, maybe I will go back to this project and recreate the entire thing. This time by not completely ripping off the assets and use my own assets :P

Feel free to try it out! There are a few bugs which I just can't be bothered to fix them though like if you click on the settings button, it won't direct you to the settings of the game which is weird because I double checked the code (or Events, similar to Blueprints in UE5 I suppose), there's nothing with it. Maybe I'm just blind.

HOW TO PLAY

If you're on PC, use your arrow keys to move your character.

If you're on mobile, swipe left or right using your fingers to move your character.

The level is basically endless so try to get as much score points as you can! And don't get hit by the incoming vehicles or otherwise it's game over.
